See the bigger picture.

Smarter, swifter investment research, all in one place. Ask a question in plain language and get a clear, visual answer across stocks, mutual funds, bonds and more in about 60 seconds.

AssetWorks is no longer operating. This site is a record of what we built.

The problem

70 minutes across eight apps. Or 60 seconds in one.

India added millions of new investors a year. Good research still meant hopping between screeners, news sites, charting tools and chat groups, so many skipped it and acted on tips.

How it worked

From a question to a widget you keep.

Every answer became a research widget: a chart or table you could tune, save to your dashboard and share with other investors.

Ask a Query screen with the question: I have ₹2 lakh to invest. Should I buy Reliance stock, invest in large-cap mutual funds, or some gold ETF given current market conditions?
01

Ask in your own words

No tickers or filters needed. Type the question the way you would ask a friend.

Journey

A note from the founders

Why we closed AssetWorks

We started AssetWorks because we believe investing does more good than harm, and that a fast-growing India needs better ways to build and protect wealth. Good research should not be a privilege.

We paused twice, and both times for the same reason: the cost of serving retail investors well.

The first version relied on human analysts and advisors. People valued it, but quality advice cost too much to deliver to first-time investors at scale. AI brought that cost down sharply, to about fifteen cents per research widget. We shipped web and mobile apps and passed 1,000 users.

AI could not change the other side of the ledger. Retail investors needed heavy subsidy and a long period of trust-building before they would pay for research, and we could not fund that gap responsibly. So in December 2025 we closed the company.

What we take with us
